Well, I fell asleep in Colorado and 8-hours later I woke up in New Mexico! Yesterday we played in an old Liquor Store in Falcon, CO! We have a show today, and then we have Monday and Tuesday off! We had some long nights on the bus, and we are all very sore and very exhausted! There is one more week on The Released Tour, and then we head home! This morning my devotion was on hearing God’s voice. It was talking about how we ask God to show us or tell us something, and we don’t wait to listen. We let different areas of our lives block out what God wants us to learn, or what He wants to tell us. In this devotion, the last paragraph was, “When God talks, shut up and listen”. How often do we push God aside, and fill our thoughts with worldly things? How can we hear from Christ, if we are constantly worrying about the world and the standards of it? We need to take time to pray, and seek out what Christ wants for our lives. We can’t learn if we aren’t listening.
