Boy or Man? Girl or Woman?

Well, it's day 3 of Tour! In just the last few days, I have seen many things and learned many things. I have seen boys who don't know who they are, and I've seen girls who don't really care who they are. This first part is for the boys... In 2 Timothy 3:16-17 it says this, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." This verse clearly states that Scripture is GOD-BREATHED... okay, really think about that... GOD, the CREATOR of the Universe BREATHED all Scripture. How freakin' awesome is that?! But it gets even better, it talks about the Bible being a guide, "Teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness" It's ALL in this book! Those of you who are confused and are wishing there was an answer book to life, well, there ya go! In verse 17 it says "so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." Well, right there, God, through Paul is saying "Okay boys, here it is, everything you need to be equipped is in here, now go and be MEN!" He has given you the resources you need, now take advantage of it and become the MAN of God that you have been called to be! God hasn't called us to be timid little boys and girls who walk around knowing ABOUT God, but knowing WHO God is! I am so sick of seeing little boys who use girls for pleasure, and guess what? Girls, most of the time, LET them! And when I say "little boys", I mean boys who are too afraid to rise up and be MEN! Now, for the girls... One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 31:30, and it says "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Now, when we think about the word "fear" in this Scripture, most of us would think "Why would I want to fear God? I thought He was a loving God?", and the beauty of that, is that He IS a loving God and deserves our utmost respect. To "fear God" isn't to be scared of Him, it's to obey Him, to respect Him, to submit to His discipline, and to worship Him in awe! We as women, need to fear God in these ways. Another one of my favorite verses is Proverbs 3:15, "She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her." You, woman of God, are more precious than rubies. Rubies are said to be one of the most precious stones... and guess what? God is saying "YOU, My beautiful young woman, are FAR more precious!" As I have been researching rubies, a Gem website said that a Ruby has been one of the most valuable gemstones on Earth, for thousands of years. They also said that it has everything a PRECIOUS stone should have. Catch that? PRECIOUS! Well, guess what, God says that YOU, that young woman of God who is reading this, is MORE precious than this "precious" Gem. God doesn't care about a little rock, He cares about YOU and He knows that you deserve more than you think. You give yourselves away, you get your heart broken, you lose things you'll never get back... and you know why? Because this world is telling you "It's okay. You only live once. It's not going to hurt anyone. Just be happy." Well, let me ask you this... Do you believe this world has the best interest in mind for you? Do you think that this world values you and your life? Someone who has the best interest in mind for you, and values you and your life is Someone who loves you. God loves you... do you love Him? Or do you love this world?

Men, the women in your life are more precious than ANY Gem... treat them like it.
Women, you are more precious than any Gem... don't forget it.
